Families, Love Them, Never Leave Them..

Family, it takes many faces these days, but the one thing that always hold it together still and always be the same, Love.

Love still the most powerful glue in every family, every relationship, in every story, my is no different...

I lived a life filled with mistakes, but falling in love was not one of them, from that love I been blessed with two boys, today both turning 13 and the other15, so no need to say that I am a very proud dad of two wonderful teenagers, as a kid myself I use to pray and ask God for a brother, and when I grow up to give me a son, well He gave me two, I was married for 12 years where family to me was everything, but some how my love was not enough, it wasn't what my their mom dream as a kid to have in her life, so now ten years later we still a family, not as it use to be, no longer whole, never all at the same place and time, but in my heart some how it never changes, even though thousand miles apart and some time since I actually been face to face my love and heart is constantly surrounding theirs, my most precious gifts.

Life goes on, we keep on trying to tell ourselves how we just can't find true love, and how circumstances just doesn't make favorable to have a family like in the so called grand old days, where family stood together, where God was the string holding it together, and when love was more than just a dream, a vision, it was something everyone involved in it worked hard to keep it together, to continue to show regardless of how well we are doing in life in general, or to each other, the new that love is real, it makes mistakes, it falls, and that is why they always go back to the only Answer and Security that can keep what they so much love together, God!

So my friends in this cold day look around you, get warm in the eyes of your imperfect husband or wife and make it perfect in your heart, look at your kids and find in them the hope, love, strength and expectancy that you will be there regardless of a passing feeling or the troubles life will place you all in it, right then go to your knees and thankfully pray for even though all may not have gone the way you dream as a kid or expect from that moment when you said , "I DO", you were loved,you were blessed to fail in love, and to become more than just you, you brought to life a part of you, something many can even do, YOU ARE BLESSED, families are the greatest challenge in life, not because divorce is common, but because it is one thing love and God holds it together, so why shall we take that knot away...

This is just a letter for those who stop believing in love and family, those who think their dream will never come to be, for those who are too lost to be found, for those who are to proud to forgive, too hopeless to get the courage to fight for your own happiness, and for every family, big or small, whole or apart, love alone will never leave you complete, but God's love will hold us through all, even when we give up on love, God's love will never give up on us!

Once again I will say that love is a commitment besides the wonderful roller coaster feelings that can come and go and come again throughout a relationship....some of us, me included (before Jesus) figured out that fact too late....You wrote an encouraging article here.Marijo

thant can happen - I write for 4 websites in all and the one which tells me the most is a place where I post things as "free to share" on a Christian writer's site - they tell you how many times someone prints out your piece. To print something means not only did they read but they wanted to keep a copy - that tells me more than anything and I really an encouraged by that method.... some sister sites for SW I get hundreds of reads and nary a comment so I hear you!
