Do You Know Your God ?

The people that "knows" their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits, and those who understand shall instruct many.

Now therefore I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight.

For there is no partiality with God, as God our Savior who desires all man to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

I guess the great question is, Do you know God? Not knowing of God but do you really try to get to know Him? I know that for a long time I heard of God, I heard of His stories, but I really didn't come to know God till my life came to a dead still, got lay off from work for the first time in my life, couldn't get a job anywhere, lost all I had worked so hard to get it, and standing one night outside the rain started to pour, heart broken and angry with myself I remember looking up and saying; "God, I will not stop trying to get to know You, and no mater how hard it gets I will not stop loving and praising You Father. No need to say that my life got way tougher and very interesting, but not in a good way, so I add in the amount of time invested getting to know God, reading the Bible became not just a daily thing but an often a day thing, where between the times I went to church, sang my heart out even with my terrible voice, and the time I spent flipping through the Christian channels learning from all I could all learn from about Gods words and His truth, and in that I saw grace from my God, I felt His love for me, and I experience His greatness as He made my impossible, possible.

I love how with God there are no partiality, He is an equal opportunity Employer, He is the same yesterday, today and forever, His words has never changed and never will, His love for us is so powerful it is beyond explanations, or what any word can describe, His only desire is that every man and woman come to KNOW Him, seek Him and He will be found, learn His ways so that we can not only found our way but that we also bring many with us,teaching and spreading the god news that is His Words, His salvation.

It took me loosing all I had and worked for to find the time to get to know God, but I believe that it didn't have to, simply was blessed enough that God has chosen me, to do a work so much greater than I can ever be and that all who knew me and get to know me will be able to see that I am nothing more than His tool, His messenger, who by His grace one day will do great exploits, and all that just because one day I made a choice to get to know The One who created it all, our Father, our God Jehovah who I come to through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

So if you never have asked God to come into your life, to be your everything, if you haven't given your mind, body and soul in exchange to get to know better your only hope, maybe today is your day, or even if you have done it already, but walked away because all lives trials, or just got too busy for God please simply pray and ask Him to come in to your heart, to guide your every step and word, to shine the light in your daily walk, and to give you the knowledge so that you can understand His words and get to know Him better, ask forgiveness for your sins, and to wash it white as snow, in Jesus name, Amen!
