September Eleven Two Thousand One;

a day to be remember and carved on a stone...

a day, that in our memories and heart shall never be gone,

A day of hearbraking stories our nation undergone..

In a beautiful blue sky morning so many loved ones unjustifying died,

in that unexplainable infamous day, our nation united as one cried...

The years will continue to passes us by,

for reasoning we may search and may never find the answers why..

A nation stood still forced to watch in fear, mourning in pain,

not knowing for sure how many loved ones just died in vain...

Trough the hands of a coward and unreasonable people filled with hate,

for the way we live, this wonderful freedom of our gracious State...

In that bright sunny mourning where the skies were so blue,

like me, so many went to work with out having a clue...

What was about to happen that day,

would leave the world with out a word to say...

Driving to work in the radio I heard the first news in disbelieve,

I couldn't understand why would someone want to cause so much grieve.

As we all watched planes going through buildings exploding bursting in fire,

killing so many that we loved, knew so well, and admire...

Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, daughters and sons,

relatives, friends, in that split second they were all gone...

Almost four thousand total and all,

about four thousand too many to take that fall...

In our prayers they shall always be remember,

Those gone now saved in our mind and heart, with love and tender,

The brave stories of the souls of a nation that will never surrender.

On the streets all over the country people of all genders and race,

united in companionship came together to make this nation one Face.

One nation standing for what is right, for freedom and peace,

standing tall against all those regardless, who that are trying to cease...
