The Man In the Mirror, I Am You...

When I take a long look in the mirror this is what I see;

much more than I ever bargain for, much less than I wanted to be.

I see the pure sadness in your twinkly eyes,

I see tears falling, on your knees often looking up to the skies...

I wonder how long more you can hide behind your smile,

because in your shoes dear friend I wouldn't want to walk a mile..

I can hear your heart beat fading slowly every day,

it no longer dances and sings specially when you pray...

I feel your pain behind the wall you created,

trust me alone there you will only be suffocated...

Please don't ever give up, don't you ever surrender in these fight,

I know that you still care, don't let go, hold on tight.

Dig deep inside your heart, find the One guiding and leading your soul,

find the gifts inside that before you were even born in you He bestow.

Remember to see the good in everyone, even though others may not,

look deep into their hearts till the truth in it flows hot.

Play continuous images of moments of the ones you truly love in your mind,

find the strength to fight and make through the worst being kind.

Wake up! It's not over, believe, have faith, live...

Yes I know that you made great mistakes, who hasn't, just breath..

Find your self, open your eyes, look how much time has been lost in vain

let your heart breath free, dream, love, find something to give again...

Pay attention, listen well, you need to find your faith fast,

stop to only speak of it, and let go of your past.

Look long and hard, I am here can't you see?

If you made through all this years forgiving everyone else why not me?

Look straight in the mirror and you will see Gods most loving creation,

you are more than just a reflection in the mirror filled with frustration.

You are what God made you to be,

you are the man in the mirror, I AM YOU, now totally free...
