To Better the World We Live In We Must First Better Ourselves...

Our world today became the era of acceptability and blame, no one is responsible for their actions, no one is guilty for the choices they made, and society in general became a selfish all about me, one for me, and me for me. Respect, honor, kindness are traits that are less and less found in the heart of people today, but there is a self help book that has been a top seller for centuries that has every answer, to every question, all we must do is take the first step and read it, let it sink into our heart till the very core of our soul is filled with every word in it, and finally we can walk in life as the Creator of it intended us to.

By growing a wise and kind heart and opening it wide we'll learn to not only see everything through it, but to also love everyone we see through it truly. We must keep a clear and positive mind, open to all the things yet unknown, but we must make sure that we always find the upside of every circumstance, like learning to see the rainbow through the pouring rain, knowing that there is always tomorrow, and no matter how our life is changing it still in the power of the choices we make, and the actions we take.

God has laid out the best "how to" Book of life, to know how to live well and right, to understand what life means and where it's going; A manual for living, for learning what's right, just, and fair; To teach the inexperienced the ropes and give our young ones a grasp on true reality besides the one given by the world today. Every word in it is to build a life on, to edify, to strengthening our mind, heart, and soul, and If we work these words into our life, trusting them, and fully expecting every promise to come to life, we'll become a faithful home build on solid rock of salvation.

In the pursuit of a happy and fulfilling life we must realized that we may often have to become invisible to the world, we may even loose all our value in others eyes, our importance to those living their all about me life, where selfishness is always the leading reason in every step they take, that we may seem out of date, out of style, and completely expired and our so called old fashion ways, because that is what being honest, honorable, kind, compassionate, and loving is in the world we live in today, but it is in our invisibility and unimportance that God will shine the light from inside out guiding those in the world that still have hope, and still searching for a real reason to live, and one worth dying for.

"LIFE IS NOT ABOUT WHO WE ARE, OR HOW OTHERS SEE US, BUT WHO GOD MAKE US INTO". To be able to change the world, to make a difference we must start in each choice we make, in every word we say, in every act of kindness we do for an undeserving rude person, in every loving and caring touch to a needy homeless, but it all has to start in our home, respecting, loving, helping and forgiving each other so that from the inside of the sanctity of our home God's light shine so bright that everyone may see, feel it, and also want to be a part of it, that I believe is the only chance for a better world...

Wow Alessandro, you touched my heart. I have the faith you speak of and it was vehemently strong after I was "saved" in the 80's; it got me through a lot of stress and anxiety and I was able to bring that faith home to my wife and kids. I'm so thankful for that. I know God's love. I have felt it and I know it's real.

Truth be known I have slipped and am back to old patterns. It's easy to slip away. I miss the intense faith I once had and know my lack has left me empty. Time to refill. Thanx for the wonderful article A.
