A New Year, New Beginnings, New Choices, New Outcomes...

Another chapter in our life book, another year has passed us by,
many trials, storms that made even the strong fall to their knees and cry...
Stories lived and survived about not what broke us apart,
but, about the Faith that gave light and sparked the hope in our heart...
Days that we had to concentrate in what we were lacking, our need,
But in the worst we can not focus, and the blessings in everything we must find,
in our nothing, empty and broke God showed us mercy giving love and being kind..
Blinded by what we thought we need and want, instead of seeing what others lack,
selfish, lost in self pity, and wondering about the moments of great times of years back...
Hearts cried out for help without much result in a world too busy to realize,
people suffer after so much lost while others did nothing but to criticize...
Did anyone out there ever realize that one can not build when everyone else are tearing them down?
That the foundation of our beliefs and faith in the mist of a storm should not be left alone to drown?
It is a new year, a new dawn for those who truly in their heart believe,
let go of all the weight from years back, let them not hold you from what you know you can achieve...
Take hold of the pen that is writing your steps and control your life, your tomorrows,
let every word your actions write be laughing moments of joy, let go of all your sorrows...
Let your love be unspoken words that contaminate others, making it easily to see,
let your heart speak out loud setting the ones around your journey free,
let the Love in you transform who you are, and whom you rather be...
A new year, new opportunities, a chance for new beginnings, new chances to find what once was lost,
Happiness, Laughter, Friendship, Family, Hope, Faith, and all that from our believes we had crossed...
Take a chance, if you done all that you could and knew how to and it did not work at all,
Try GOD, what have you got to loose, knowing that He will always be there when you fall...
He will love you regardless of what you have done or where you been,
He will protect you and your family regardless of what in your ways he have seen,
He will guide you regardless, He will hold you up, He will love you even when you don't
He will forgive even though you may not deserve, He will be there for you when others won't...
So if all you do, if it is the last words in this year you must say, one last act you can do,
let it be about His love, let it be in gratitude, let it be about the passion that transformed you too,
write in each page the perfect words that will touch others heart and help them in this life get through...
Write your vision, your dreams, believe in them, work towards them, ignore the mountains look through the rain
till you find the fire in your heart that will lead you to see the grand beauty of the truthful sun again...
A brand new world, a new year, a new page being written by the love in our heart,
a brand new way to see the world and life, a choice greater than us to give our life a new start...
